It’s been a whirlwind since the beginning of December, so we’re only just getting to post about the great time we had in Philadelphia. #Unplugged seemed even bigger this year than last and it was great to see so many board gamers in one place once again!
We had a blast playing test games thanks the Unpub network’s Collaboratory Proto Alley. Thank you to all of those who came and gave us such valuable feedback!
We had some games and tried out some of the new rules we’ve been testing – particularly around how to structure the card decks. There were some clear winners and we’ll be incorporating those designs.
We also spent time playing with the board structure: we love the flexibility, but it’s still a little hard to build first time out. Time to figure out how to aggregate tiles!
Elsewhere in the show, hex tiles are all the rage 🙂
All in all, it was a great event and we’re looking forward to more in 2020. Hard at work on tweaking the game, look out for some more updates through the holidays. In the meantime though wishing everybody a wonderful, enjoyable, board game playing break!
